|First picture I ever shot with a manual lense, from our front yard a few years back.|
It is early morning here in Southeast Kansas. The sun is cresting over the buildings and trees to the east, and the chill is still in the air. It's pretty this time of morning.
Today is another day the Lord has given. Let's be thankful and rejoice!
For us here in SE KS, it is to be in the 60's today! (happy dance commencing) It will be a soccer and planting day. I so look forward to the bountiful harvest to come, of vegetables and flowers like the one pictured above. Our lettuce and spinach is already showing, as are pots of basil and thyme. Radishes just started peeking through the dirt to make hubby drool. Today is planting pole beans and eggplants. We planted our other basil, oregano, thyme, chives, and parsley already and are eagerly awaiting their arrival. I'm looking forward to the end of the frosty mornings in order to plant starts of tomatoes and various peppers.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Don't forget Sunday to be in your local house of worship, and give praise and thanks to the Lord!
Keep pressing on!
